We are not solely about agriculture in the sense of the traditional family farm, but also encompass careers from the tech industry to the biomedical field. In addition to exploring the many facets of the agriculture industry and its numerous sectors, we also focus on growing the leaders of tomorrow and developing those skills that you will need to succeed, such as public speaking, confidence and the ability to advocate for something you believe in. BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE ACADEMY
BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE ACADEMY (BSA)
Do you enjoy science? Have you thought about working in a lab like CSI or becoming a health-care professional like a nurse? Then the Biomedical Science Academy (BSA) at Gilroy High is for you. This highly competitive four-year program is designed to give you hands-on experience working with the same tools used by professionals in hospitals and labs. Students engage in compelling, hands-on activities and work together to find solutions to problems. Students take from the courses in-demand knowledge and skills they will use in high school and for the rest of their lives, on any career path they take. Are you up for the challenge? DUAL IMMERSION (DI)
Are you a DI student at South Valley Middle School? Do you want to continue your bilingual education and complete the GUSD program? You need to enroll in the DI program at Gilroy High, which strives to promote bilingualism and bi-literacy, grade-level academic achievement, and positive cross-cultural attitudes and behaviors in all students. The Mustang athletic department welcomes all freshman to join an athletic team! We have something for everyone and we welcome all skill levels to join and foster a lifelong passion for activity.
